I find fulfillment in creation, particularly when it involves both artistic and scientific and/or technological disciplines. As a former lab optician by trade, I have long known that the art/STEM dichotomy is false. I derive immense satisfaction in working with my hands, or otherwise creating something functional, and to that end I manipulate traditionally produced media by digital means and incorporate them in my games, animations, and other projects. I enjoy the analytical, logical aspect of computer programing. I value the flexibility of digital graphic design. I am passionate about sharing interactive experiences with players through game design, and absolutely love the process of synthesis of the aforementioned disciplines in the game design process.
The difference between the almost right word and the right word is really a large matter. ’tis the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.
Mark Twain
Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more.
Nikola Tesla
